DP Speech and Language Therapy: Meet Disha Patel, Your Licensed Pathologist

Hi, I'm Disha Patel, a licensed speech-language pathologist with over 10 years of experience providing communication needs support to individuals of all ages. I earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut and my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from New York Medical College. Throughout my career, I've worked in private practice and currently serve as a school-based speech therapist with the New York City Department of Education, where I offer speech therapy services to school-aged children and adolescents. I also have experience supporting college students. I believe in fostering meaningful relationships with my clients and tailoring therapy to meet each individual's unique needs.

I live in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in Franklin Park, New Jersey. When I'm not at work, you can find me jogging through Brooklyn Bridge Park, trying out new recipes from my favorite food blogs, or video chatting with my niece!
