Meet the Clinician at DP Speech and Language Services

Hi, I'm Disha Patel, a licensed speech-language pathologist with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with a variety of communication needs. I earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut and my Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from New York Medical College. Throughout my career, I've worked in private practice and currently also serve as a school-based speech therapist with the New York City Department of Education. I specialize in working with school-aged children and adolescents, and also have experience supporting students in college. I believe in building meaningful relationships with my clients and tailoring therapy to meet each individual's needs. 

I live in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Franklin Park, New Jersey. When I am not at work, you'll find me jogging through Brooklyn Bridge Park, testing new recipes from my favorite food blogs, or face-timing my niece!
